CHRISTMAS OPENING HOURS

This festive season we will be closed on the Christmas Day & Boxing Day.

We will be open for brunch on every other day. Hope to see you HERE :)

We are 11 years old!

There have been ups (our lovely loyal customers), and downs (lockdowns!) since we first opened in 2013.

We are still proud to serve fresh dishes cooked daily in our very own kitchen. Proud that we don’t serve ultra processed foods, are mindful of our impact on the planet and have a team who have stayed with us many years.

We are proud to have been HERE, in Berkhamsted, for so long & we would like to thank you, our wonderful customers, most of all. You’ve been amazing. xx

OUr food

HERE we serve fresh, seasonal food, prepared from scratch in our own kitchen. We smoke our own fish, bake our own bread and serve a selection of fine European wines and local ales. If we don't know where it comes from we don't serve it! We’re passionate about waste management and our restaurant is fitted out with recycled and reclaimed furniture. We serve brunch all day and delicious plates of freshly prepared, seasonal food in the evenings. There's plenty to chose from - from fish to veggie, meat to vegan dishes. The team have created an extremely tasty menu so we hope to see you soon.

ABOUT US

HERE is a restaurant and bar with community at its heart; a gathering place for people to meet, eat, drink and share. In an age when our High Streets are becoming dull clones of one another, HERE breaks the mould.

HERE we buy produce from our neighbours, feature the work of local talent and celebrate the town we love. Our shop is furnished with recycled, reclaimed and local materials. We feature fresh and seasonal local food, a range of local beers and ales and responsibly sourced and delicious European wines.

Operations Director

Pete is the heart and soul of HERE. A Berkhamsted boy, he’s worked in hospitality for many years… at The Butcherhouse Bar & Grill, The Anchorline, The Rusk Company and Malmaison. He’s a trained sommelier and passionate about sustainability and real food. He’s married to Karolin (a talented cook) and dad to two girls.
